Description

Witalis Domitrz obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2020 at the University of Warsaw and a Master of Science in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science in 2021 at the University of Oxford.

During his studies, Witalis explored various areas including Machine Learning and Quantum Computing. Some of his projects include improving methods for quantum circuits optimization and training deep reinforcement learning agents in the Google Football environment. He also interned in various companies in which he got experience in both research and software engineering roles.

His notable achievements are receiving the best poster award for his poster at the Eastern European Machine Learning Summer School and receiving the Rector’s Scholarship for the best students every year during his studies in Warsaw.

The major task of Witalis at the Computational Genomics Group is to develop and implement novel machine learning algorithms for analysis and visualization of high-dimensional single-cell multiomics data.
