Project title: Breakthrough single cell profiling method for cancer research

The development of targeted therapies, has made the fight against cancer more effective, although their availability is limited due to their high cost. Technological advances and the development of new treatment modalities can reduce the financial outlay for oncotherapy, which in the long term will contribute significantly to minimising the socio-economic impact of cancer. It is therefore crucial to conduct research into the mechanisms of oncological pathogenesis and the factors that determine the efficacy of therapy. The multimodal single cell sequencing method proposed in this project will allow the study of individual differences in expression profile, cell diversity in the tumour environment and immune response.

The total funding for this project is PLN 1 678 050.
