Classic data analysis and Computer Vision techniques have been successfully used in various medical applications for many years. However, currently solutions to problems encountered in numerous areas are evolving towards Machine Learning aided approaches. Medicine, and along with it Medical Imaging, is no different in this matter as in the last couple of years Machine Learning (and especially Deep Learning) proved to be capable of providing completely new standards of quality and accuracy of automated detection, classification and analysis of various types of data. This presentation ls a survey of possibilities that could be opened through the usage of Machine Learning in the field of Medicine
