You’re the person we turn to when things just need to work. You’ll be on-site at ICTER with our teams, looking after the tools that power each workday and turning small hiccups into quick wins. You’ll own Microsoft 365 admin and champion new features that make life easier. You will provide technical support to researchers working on optical imaging. You’ll team up across ICTER to keep the labs running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

End-User Support & Enablement

  • Resolve tickets and walk-ups with calm, clear troubleshooting.
  • Coach colleagues on best practices and new features they’ll actually use.
  • Create concise how-to’s and quick tips that stick.
  • Escalate risks early and follow through to closure.

Microsoft 365 Administration & Automation

  • Administer M365: user lifecycle, groups, roles, policy, and security baselines.
  • Manage Security & Compliance, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange settings.
  • Track licenses and optimize usage with analytics and reports.
  • Build lightweight automations (Power Automate / PowerShell) to remove toil.

Office & Lab Technology (On-site)

  • Support Windows / macOS endpoints, printers, and peripherals.
  • Maintain network edge basics on-site (Wi-Fi, switches, access control – day-to-day).
  • Coordinate vendor visits and hardware repairs; manage spares and stock.
  • Prep and ship devices; handle imaging, asset tagging, and returns.

Teleconference & Collaboration Systems

  • Own meeting room setups (AV, cameras, mics, screens) for reliable calls.
  • Standardize room configs and document them for repeatability.
  • Troubleshoot live meetings without drama; test before exec sessions.

Maintenance, Lifecycle & Documentation

  • Keep assets current: procurement, inventory, warranty, and disposals.
  • Patch devices and apps on a regular cadence; track exceptions.
  • Maintain clean, versioned documentation and diagrams.
  • Enforce join / leave checklists so nothing falls through the cracks.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with M365 environment and software.
  • Ability to identify, isolate, and resolve hardware/software/network issues.
  • Familiarity with root-cause analysis methods.
  • Understanding of application configs, error logs, and updates.
  • Information architecture for SharePoint (metadata, versioning, single source of truth).
  • Automation skills with Power Automate and PowerShell (or similar scripting).
  • Calm, methodical troubleshooting across OS, hardware, AV, and the network edge.
  • Clear, friendly communication for non-technical audiences.
  • Solid project discipline and data literacy.
  • Language: Professional English; Polish is a strong plus for local support.

What We Offer

  • Participation and real impact on building the internal infrastructure of the organisation,
  • A collaborative, research-based environment,
  • Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience (PLN 7,000-9,000 gross per month),
  • Flexible working options (task-based work/occasional remote work),
  • A friendly working atmosphere and team support,
  • Training programmes (courses, job shadowing),
  • Private medical care,
  • Team-building activities and company events.

How We’ll Work Together

You’ll be a visible, trusted partner for researchers, operations, finance, and management. Most days are on-site, working shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues to keep devices, rooms, and tools humming. You’ll collaborate with vendors when needed and keep stakeholders informed with short, useful updates.
